Learning about the importance of the railway:
The railway was a key factor in Canada's development. If the railway had not been built, Canada would not have grown the way it did; who knows, we might not even be here today! It is hard to imagine how terrible the working conditions must have been for the Chinese rail workers. They must be given credit for their contribution to building a transportation link that would change this land forever.
